Extra information :
The game is a multiplayer FPS in which the players use gravity guns to push or pull the player into traps in order to kill them. The game was created as a school project with a team of 13 students. The initial outset of the project was to create a game within two school blocks (14 weeks, spending 1 day every week on this project). When the game was green lighted after this time another 14 weeks would be added to improve the game. However during the project the gameplay become unclear due to miscommunication within the team. Because of this the teachers decided to stop the project.
My role :
During the project I was a programmer and a designer. I helped with the creation of some smaller coding assets like double jumping and the radar. The main reason for this was because this was my first project in c++, I had help from the other programmers they explained much and I got a better understanding of the language. Besides coding I helped with tweaking the gameplay mechanics in the engine so that they were like the mechanics within the prototype engine.
The following code is used to show the games radar. This code was created with the help of Sam Hardeman.
